1. Solution of economic, commercial, technical and scientific problems regarding acquisition, processing and machining of timber and wood-base materials,
2. Organisation of joint information, marketing and quality improvement projects.

The Association intends to achieve its objectives through the following activities:

1. supporting its members in collecting, analysing and exchanging marketing, domestic and foreign information,
2. organisation of exchange of information about new production technologies, management and application of quality assurance systems, environmental protection and work safety,
3. development of guidelines, explanation of regulations and norms and their adjustment to international requirements regarding the safety of constructions and technical quality of products,
4. supporting members in the protection of scientific and technological achievements, consulting services related to licence agreements, protection against unfair competition, etc.
5. joint organisation of national and foreign exhibitions and other product promotion projects,
6. organisation of conferences, meetings, presentations, study visits,
7. cooperation with foreign producers and organisations as regards technological development, joint production and cooperation in manufacturing and services.
